Restorative dentistry deals with restoring the health, function and appearance of teeth that have been damaged due to gum disease, accidents, age, and tooth decay. It can be used to repair and/or treat decaying teeth, missing teeth, misaligned teeth, discolored teeth and more. Restoring teeth’s health, function and appearance often involves several steps and a combination of procedures that can include amalgam (silver) or composite (tooth colored) fillings, porcelain crowns, bridges, partials or dentures. Before any work is done, x-rays will be taken of the treatment area. Dr. Zeng will discuss the treatment plan with you and answer any questions you might have.
